Two proprietary components of TearGlyde®, TETRONIC®† 1304 and C9-ED3A, work together to recondition silicone hydrogel and soft contact lenses.
The components, TETRONIC® 1304 and C9-ED3A, in TearGlyde®, are attracted to the surface and matrix of contact lenses. They then form a network to maintain a thin layer of moisture from natural tears on the lens surface throughout the day. This shield of moisture on the surface of the lens helps maintain the appearance of white eyes (free from redness) in many patients.
