Saline Solution
Some people call contact lens solution "saline solution." However, there is a huge difference between saline solution and the multi-purpose solution now commonly used to clean and disinfect contact lenses. Saline solution was never intended to clean or store contact lenses, and should NOT be considered an alternative to a disinfecting contact lens care solution.
